The content of ascorbic acid in the unripe currants is 65,0-81,3 mg/100g, and among the ripe orange-yellow currants the content vitamin C is more (48,1-58,8 mg/100g) than in the black ones (38,8-50,1 mg/100g). The largest number of currants is in Dombarovcky, Adamovsky, Akbulaksky forestries of the Orenburg region and along the railways and the roads. The average supplies of currants are 1,5 tons a year.
